Northwest Georgia Housing Authority, a leader in quality housing, is currently accepting applications for the following position:

CHOICE NEIGHBORHOOD PLANNING MANAGER

This is a full-time position. The Choice Neighborhood Planning Manager, under the supervision of the Executive Director is responsible for providing communities with small grants to strengthen the community, build partnerships, secure resources, and create a shared vision for neighborhood revitalization. The Choice Neighborhood Planning Manager is responsible in coordinating the planning of NWGHA and the City of Rome’s HUD Choice Neighborhood Planning Grant, working with the Planning Coordinator, to develop the Transformation Plan for the John Graham Homes Community and the surrounding neighborhood to achieve the goals of the HUD Choice Neighborhood Planning Grant.

The successful candidate must have bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Urban Affairs, Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or related area of study with a minimum of five (5) years of related work experience. Salary commensurate with experience.
