Celebrating 25 Years of Youth Leadership Development
Since 1992 SERC-NAHRO has had the privilege of being associated with an effort to create opportunities for leadership development for youth in the SERC Region. It began with the efforts of a few strong-willed individuals who were devoted to the belief that providing youth from low-income families with experiences they might not otherwise have access to, could have a direct, positive impact on their futures. They started a “Sports Festival” in the State of Alabama. And over these past 25 years it has grown into our annual “SERC- Martin Luther King Jr. Basketball Tournament.” Please take a look at this 25th Anniversary Booklet honoring this milestone.
