The Housing Authority of the City of Augusta (Housing Authority) hereby
requests proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to
audit its annual financial statements for the five-year period beginning April
1, 2016 and ending March 31, 2021.
The Auditor will be selected by a review of the following basic factors:
- The firm’s qualifications to perform a Public Housing Authority audit.
- The firm’s planned approach to the audit.
- The firm’s proposed price for the audit.
All proposals must be submitted in accordance with the guidelines specified
in this Request for Proposal (RFP). No requirement and/or specification
should be construed as an attempt on the part of the Housing Authority to
limit competition. However, the nature of the Housing Authority’s audit
requirements will necessarily result in the elimination of a number of
prospective vendors.
